Valentine Day’s Surprise: A Marty & Patrick (Party) Romance

Marty Saybrooke, sad and not looking forward to Valentine’s Day, decided to just hang at home alone since the love of her life, Patrick, had been dead for several years and her son, Cole and granddaughter, Hope, were killed in an auto accident, and her son’s girlfriend, Starr, had just started a new romance. Just when Marty had given up hope, a mysterious Valentine’s Day card appeared on her doorstep. As Marty investigates the sender of the card, she gets the shock of her life.

Chapter 1

“Hey, Starr, do you want to spend Valentine’s Day together, just having a girls’ night out?” a lonely Marty asks via cell.

“Oh, gee, Marty, I’d love to, but I already made plans with my new boyfriend, Chad.” Starr sadly tells her.

“Oh, ok. I’m sorry to bother you.” Marty said, sounding a little hurt. “Have a nice time.”

“Thank you, Marty.” Starr says. “Say, why don’t you and I plan a girls’ night out this next weekend? Just the two of us?’

“Sounds great.” Marty perks up. “See you later, Starr.”

As Marty ends the call with Starr, she can’t help but wonder if this new guy is right for Starr. Starr has been making some rash decisions since the death of her son, Cole, and their daughter, Hope. She just hoped this guy was good for her.

As for Marty, she decided to just hide out in her one-bedroom flat and eat munchies and watch sad romance stories for Valentine’s Day.

She had just gotten home from her shopping spree after buying her Valentine’s Day treats and was unlocking her door, when she spotted a red envelope someone had slipped under her door. As soon as Marty set her purchases on her kitchen counter, she bent down to pick it up.

As she opened it up to read it, tears fell from her face. It was her favorite poem that her beloved husband had read to her after the first time they made love. As memories of Patrick flooded her mind, she couldn’t help but wonder who could have sent this card and how much the poem met to her.

The next day, curious as to who could have sent the card, she went to Det. John McBain, who was now a P.I. After resigning from the Llanview PD.

“John, I need your help!” Marty exclaimed, as she entered his P.I. Office.

“How can I be of assistance, Marty?” John asked her.

“I need to know who sent this?” Marty replied, showing her the Valentine’s Day card she received the night before.

“What is this?” John asked, piqued with curiosity.

“I don’t know? I found it slipped under my door last night when I came home.” Marty said.

John read the card to see if he could spot any clues.

“Isn’t this the poem Patrick Thornhart read to you?” John asked, remembering that she had told him during one of their dates.

“Yes, it is.” Marty replied. “I don’t know if it is a cruel joke or a romantic gesture?”

“Well, Marty, I will get to the bottom of it.” John told her.

“Thank you, John.” Marty said. “I couldn’t sleep at all last night. All I could think about was that card.”

Marty left John’s office and went back to her apartment. She set out her munchies for her lone night of sad romance movies for Valentine’s Day. But her heart just wasn’t in it. The Valentine’s Day card she had received was still bothering her and she couldn’t concentrate on the movies she had rented or even eat her favorite munchies.

All Marty could think of was that Valentine’s Day card.

Chapter 2

The next day, Marty called Starr to see how her Valentine’s date went, but she didn’t pick up her cell. She shrugged it off, assuming that Starr must have had some night and didn’t wish to be bothered.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on her door. As Marty went to answer the door, Starr’s date, Chad, was standing outside her door.

“Chad?” Marty asked confused. “What are you doing here? I thought you were with Starr?”

“No.” Chad said. “I waited for her all night, but she never showed up. That’s when I decided to come to your place and see if she decided to hang with you last night?”

“No, Starr hasn’t been here.” Marty said.

“Oh! I thought maybe she may have changed her mind. She sounded so concerned that she turned you down last night.” Chad said.

“Well, that sounds like Starr. Always worried about others before herself.” Marty said.

“Yes.” Chad agreed. “I just wonder what happened to her and where she is?”

“Me too. It’s not like Starr to just up and leave.” Marty questioned also.

“If you hear from her, will you let me know?”

“Yes, Chad, if I see or hear from her, I will let you know.” Marty agreed.

As Marty closed the door, she was more curious and concerned now than ever. First, the Valentine’s Day card, now Starr was missing. Things were getting more weird and mysterious than ever.

She put in a call to John to let him know of Starr’s disappearance.

Meanwhile, in a remote cabin on the outskirts of Llanview. . .

Starr Manning woke up to find herself in a tiny cold bedroom. She tried to get up, but felt woozy and fell back down on the bed. Everything was blurry and she could barely see the mysterious figure who had come in the bedroom to leave her a meal, then leave the room.

Chapter 3

Starr had just finished the breakfast that was left for her. It sure was good―French Toast, bacon, wheat toast with butter and strawberry jam, and milk and orange juice.

Starr had to use the rest room and went to the door, thinking it would be locked, but it wasn’t. She slipped out and just as she went to find a bathroom, saw a guy in the nursery playing with a little girl about 2 years of age, just the same age as . . . Hope.

As Starr peered closer, she realized it was Hope. . .and the guy was Cole. Cole and Hope were alive after all.

“Well, hello, Starr.” Cole said. “Come say hello to our daughter.”

Starr walked into the nursery, tears in her eyes, as Cole reunited her with her daughter.

“I thought I had lost you forever.” Starr said, hugging Hope tight, Hope gasped for air.

“Cole, what is going on here?” Starr asked him, confused.

But Cole didn’t get the chance to explain when Patrick walked in on them.

“Well, hello, Starr, I’m glad to see you found Cole and Hope.” Patrick said, cheerfully.

“Patrick, I thought you were dead?” Starr asked, even more confused.

“It’s a very long story.” Patrick said. “One that I am working to fix.”

“What do you mean?” Starr asked.

“Well, I’m slowly working to reunite my family. Soon Marty will be here and we will all be family the way it should be.” Patrick informed her.

Starr was just glad to have Hope in her arms again. And Cole and Patrick back. It was nice to know that Cole had his father in his life again.

Meanwhile, back in Llanview. . .

Marty never made it home when John came to report that the card that was sent to her came from a “Patrick Thornhart.” He left a note to call him soon and slid it under her door.

Marty woke up in the back seat of a strange car with a strange man driving. She screamed and caused the man to run off the road.

Chapter 4

Marty woke in the back seat of the car to find that the strange man behind the wheel dead upon impact from the crash.

Just then, the man’s cell rang, flashing the name “Patrick Thornhart”. Marty looked confused, as she wondered if she should answer it. It couldn’t be Patrick? Patrick was dead?

Marty picked up the cell and dialed John’s number.

“Hello?” John asked, answering his cell.

“John, I’m glad I got a hold of you.” Marty said.

“Marty, where are you?”

“I’ve been in a car crash.”

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, I am, but the driver is dead.”

“Tell me where you are and I’ll come get you.”

Marty gave John directions so he could come get her. As Marty waited for John, she couldn’t help but wonder why that number came up with Patrick’s name. Assuming it was a joke, Marty tossed the phone into the river just as John pulled up to pick her up.

Marty got into John’s car as soon as he stopped the car.

“What was that you tossed into the river?” John asked Marty.

“A cell phone.” Marty said. “It rang and came up Patrick’s name, so I tossed it into the river.”

“Ah, Marty. You shouldn’t have done that.”

“Why not?”

“Because Patrick is alive.”

“And how can that be?”

“Those flowers and poem you received came from Patrick himself.” John told her. “I ran an Internet search and Patrick is indeed very much alive.”

“Patrick is alive, and I just tossed the only way to get a hold of him into that river.”

“Don’t worry, Marty, I’ll find Patrick.”

Meanwhile. . .

Patrick called Simon’s cell, but got no answer.

“Damn it, Simon!” Patrick raged. “Where the hell are you?”

Unaware that Simon is dead from the car crash and that Marty tossed the phone into the river, Patrick called his other body guard to find Marty.

Chapter 5

Patrick got a hold of Max, his trusty body guard that Patrick could truly trust, to find Marty. As Max was enroute to Simon’s last known location, he saw a man and woman in a wrecked car on the side of the road.

Pulling over, Max realized it was Marty, but didn’t let on who he was.

“Can I be of some assistance?” Max asked, getting out of his car.

“Yes, sir.” John said. “We seem to have had an accident.”

Looking at the dead driver in the driver’s seat, Max realized it was Simon.

“Yes, you do seem to have a problem.” Max said, as he sent a quick text to Patrick, “I found her!” before getting back to John and Marty.

“Well, can I give you a ride to where you were going?” Max asked, but secretly he would be taking Marty to Patrick.

“That would be great!” John said, with a grateful Marty nodding her head.

“Well, then, hop in!” Max tells them.

“What about him?” John says, pointing to the dead driver. “We can’t just leave him here?”

“I’ll make a call on my cell and have someone come pick him up after we get going.” Max informed Marty and John.

While Max was enroute, John and Marty were so tired, they instantly fell asleep as soon as they got into Max’s car, which pleased Max.

“Yes, boss.” Max said as soon as Patrick picked up his cell.

“What’s up, Max?”

“I have them and we’re on our way.”

“That’s good!” Patrick praised Max. “How soon will you be here?”

“In about 2 hours.” Max said. “Simon is dead. Can you send someone to come get him?”

“Dead?” Patrick asked. “How?”

“There was a car crash.” Max explained.

“Is Marty all right?” Patrick asked, worried.

“They’re both fine. They both fell asleep as soon as he pulled off.”

“They’re? Who else is with Marty?”

“Some guy named John?”

“Marty wasn’t alone?”

“Well, let me know when you get near, Max, and thank you for finding Marty.” Patrick said, gratefully. “You’re awesome!”

As Patrick waited for Max to arrive with Marty and some guy named John, he wondered what he would do with him.

Chapter 6

Max was on the cell talking to Patrick when John woke up and heard him talking to someone.

“Who the hell are you talking to?” John demanded from Max.

“Excuse me boss.” Max said to Patrick, so as not to reveal who he was talking to in front of John or a sleeping Marty.

“I got lost and was calling for directions.” Max lied to John.

John didn’t believe Max and grabbed Max’s cell from him, causing Max to run off the road and into a ditch. Marty slept through the crash and Max was out for about 5 minutes when he came to find Marty still asleep and John thrown from the car, lying in the ditch.

Quick on his feet, Max managed to get the car out of the ditch and back onto the road, leaving John behind.

As soon as Max was well on his way, Max’s cell rang. It was Patrick.

“Yes, boss?” Max said, answering his cell.

“What the hell is taking so long?” Patrick said, getting irate.

“That John dude woke up and demanded I tell him who I was talking to.” Max began. “When I refused, he grabbed my cell, knocking it to the floor and causing us to run into a ditch.”

“Oh my god!” Patrick said, worried. “Marty? Is she alright?”

“She good. Slept right through it all.” Max said, relieving Patrick’s worry. “We’re back on the road. John however, was thrown from the car.”

“So, it’ll just be you and Marty who show up?” Patrick asked.

“Correct, boss.” Max reaffirmed.

“How soon will you here?”

“I say about 30 minutes.”

“Alright. See you when you arrive.”

“Okay boss.” Max said as he ended his call.

Meanwhile, back at the ditch where Max left an unconscious John, John woke up to find that Max’s car had left him there and Marty was no where in sight.

Chapter 7

John found tracks were heading north and as luck would have it, saw a car abandoned ahead on the road. He got in the car, started the engine and drove off to find Marty.

Meanwhile, Max had arrived at Patrick’s hideout with an unconscious Marty. As he was bringing her inside Patrick’s hideout, Patrick, Cole, Starr and Hope looked on.

“How is she?” Patrick asked, when Max brought in Marty and laid her on the sofa.

“I can’t believe I have both my mom and dad with me.” Cole said, with tears in his eyes.

Starr just hugged Cole as Hope ran up to her parents, “Mommy. Daddy.”

Starr reached down and picked up her daughter as Cole and Starr gave Hope a family hug.

“Daddy, who’s that lady lying over there?” Hope asked.

“That’s your gramma.” Cole said, crying.

“Why are you crying, daddy?”

“I’m just happy that we’re all finally here.” Cole said, giving Hope and Starr a big hug.

Just then, Marty was stirring as Patrick was at her side, holding her hand.

“Where am I?” Marty said, groggily.

“Sh-h-h!” Patrick said lovingly.

“Who are you?” Marty asked Patrick as he gazed into her eyes.

“It’s me, Marty. It’s me, Patrick.”

“Patrick? No, it can’t be? You’re dead?”

“Yes. It is me.” Patrick reassured her. “It’s a long story, but it is me.”

Then Marty looked around the room and noticed that she was surrounded by Cole, Starr and Hope.

“Yes, mother.” Cole said, squeezing her hand.

“And Starr and Hope, too?”

“Yes, Marty. We’re here.”

Max left the happy family to celebrate when he got a call on cell, “So how is the happy family?”

“What do you want?” Max said to the caller.

“You’ve done your job.” The caller said. “It’s my turn now.”

“What are you going to do, Zinnia?” Max said.

“Never mind. Don’t warn Patrick. If you do, you’re dead!” Zinnia warned him.

Zinnia Michaels had a surprise for Patrick. One that he would not like. You don’t leave Zinnia Michaels and get away with it.

Chapter 8

Zinnia was well on her way to Patrick’s so surprise him. She was the one who had found Patrick and nursed him back to health. Patrick had amnesia and didn’t remember who he was. When Patrick finally remembered who he was, he managed to flee Zinnia’s compound and embarked on a plan to get back to Marty and Cole. It was heaven when Patrick figured out he had a granddaughter.

But Zinnia had other plans in store for Patrick. She had given her life to rescue Patrick and they had a bond as she felt her stomach.

“Don’t worry, baby. Daddy will back in our lives soon!” Zinna said to herself.

Meanwhile, Patrick and Marty were enjoying life now that they were all together as a family: He, Marty, Cole, Starr, and Hope. They all had a big family feast before Patrick whisked Marty off to the private island for a little fun and adventure.

“Marty, I’m so happy to have finally found you.” Patrick exclaimed as he kissed her after making love for the first time since he had brought Marty to the hideout.

“I can’t believe you’re alive.” Marty said as she hugged him tightly. “It all still feels like a dream.”

“It’s not a dream.” Patrick said, holding her in his arms. “It’s not a dream.”

Back at the hideout cabin, Cole and Starr were enjoying some time with Hope when there was a knock at the door.

“John?” Cole said surprised.

“I followed the tracks of the car that ran Marty and I down.” John explained.

“Come in, John.” Cole offered.

“So, where is Marty?”

“She’s with my dad.”

“Patrick?” John asked confused. “I thought he was dead?”

“Well, we thought so, but it turns out he’s alive.”

“Yes, John.” Starr chimed in. “We all had a feast before Patrick whisked Marty off to a special retreat.”

“So they’re alone together.” John said.

“Yes, they were so happy to be back in each other’s lives, dad had a surprise for mom.”

“So, all those flowers and gifts—they were from Patrick?”

“Yes. Dad was the one sending them.” Cole explained. “Dad was reaching out to Marty so he could reunite with her.”

“Well, I guess I will head back to Llanview. Looks like I’m not needed here.”

“John, thanks for looking out for my mother.”

“Yea. I thought we had something special, but now that Patrick’s back. . . “ John stopped short before leaving the cabin.

“I feel for John, but I’m so happy for your parents.” Starr said as she gave Cole a kiss.

“Yea. Me too.” Cole said, kissing her back.

Cole and Starr starr getting in the mood for passion, but were interrupted when Hope said her first words: “Mommy and Daddy!”

“OMG! Cole Hope just said her first words!” Starr cried happy tears of joy.

Todd sadly comes down the stairs and announces to the guests that the bride-to-be has disappeared and is no where to be seen. James can’t believe what Todd is saying. He gets into a argument with Todd, accusing him of kidnapping Starr to prevent James from marrying him.
“You liar!” James accuses Todd. “You had Starr taken away! You never wanted Starr to marry me!”
“I admit I never liked you, but I have no idea where Starr is!” Todd states, matter-of-factly.
James lunges towards Todd, but Todd backs away, sending James straight into the cake. He comes up, covered in chocolate cake and vanilla frosting. Todd laughs at the sight of James covered in cake.
Just then, Blair, Starr’s mother, tells the two men to calm down.
“Okay, Todd! James! Let’s calm down and think about Starr! We need to figure out what happened to her.”
“You’re right, Blair. Starr is who we should be thinking about.” Todd apologizes.
As the wedding guests wonder what happened to Starr, Starr is found safe and sound in a magical room set up for a blissful night of romance.
Episode 2
Starr wakes up inside a room set up for blissful night of romance. The last thing she remembers is getting ready to walk down the aisle to marry James Ford. And wondering if she should marry James. Then she blacks out from a blow to the head. She reaches up to her head to feel the bump on the back of her head.
Just then, the door opens and Starr is stunned to see who it is.
Cole comes in holding their daughter Hope. With tears of joy, Starr doesn’t think twice. She runs into Cole’s arms and hugs the two of them.
“Oh, Cole, I’m so glad your alive. But I don’t understand? You and Hope went over that cliff?”
“I don’t either. All I know is I awoke in a hospital room with a massive headache.”
Starr is so happy she kisses Cole. Then she takes Hope from his arms.
“Oh my little girl. I’ve missed you so. A part of me died when I you died. . .or thought you died.”
Starr just hugs her daughter. Then Cole has Hope taken back to her room to sleep.
“So where were we when that car went over that cliff?” Cole asks Starr.
“I believe we were discussing plans to get married.” An elated Starr replies.
“Let’s just put those plans on hold for now.”
And Cole kisses Starr sweetly on the lips. The two lovers lock lips and fall onto the bed together. They spend the rest of the night in a magical embrace making love to each other.
Meanwhile on a Greek Island…
“Let me out of here!” the real Cole Thornhart demands.
Just then, Helena Cassadine comes through the double doors of her basement.
“What is all the commotion in here?” Helena screams.
“I want to know why I am here and where my daughter is?” Cole spits out angryily.
“Your daughter is fine. She’s playing in the playroom.” Helena responds.
“Who are you?”
“I am Helena Cassadine.”
“Cassadine? Why does that name sound familiar?”
“You don’t need to concern yourself with that, young man. You aren’t getting out of here anytime soon.”
“Just what do you mean by that?”
“I know you were on you’re way to see your precious Starr.”
“Yeah, we were going to get married.”
“Well, let’s just say, you will getting married.”
“What? How?
“Oh, Cole, dear, Starr and Cole will be getting married. It just won’t be you she’ll actually be marrying.”
“What do you mean by that?”
But Helena leaves before answering his last question, leaving Cole in total bewilderment. Just who is Helena Cassadine, and what does she have in mind for Starr?
Episode 3
The next morning, Starr wakes up to find Cole missing from the bed. It was a wonderful time being back in Cole’s arms, but something wasn’t right. Starr couldn’t put her finger on it, but something just didn’t feel right about making love to Cole last night. And Starr didn’t feel the same connection to Hope that she did before. But Starr puts the thought out of her mind. She just wants to concentrate on having Cole and Hope back in her life. That’s all that matters, Starr thinks to herself.
Starr puts on her robe and goes down the hall to play with Hope. Oh, how she missed playing with her daughter. Starr enjoys watching Hope play with the dolls that are in the playroom. There is even the Mr. Sprinkles that Hope had given Hope right before Cole and Hope had “died.” Hope loved that doll. So why wasn’t she playing with it. When Starr gave it to her, Hope wouldn’t put it down. She carried it with her everywhere. But now it lay on the floor, forgotten, as Hope latched onto another doll.
Just then, Cole appeared in the doorway, Starr forgetting what her last thought was. She was just glad to see Cole. She went to give Cole a Cole, glad to see him.
“So, how are my two favorite girls?” Cole asks, after kissing Starr.
“We’re just great. I came in here to watch Hope play. You don’t know how much I missed you too. My heart died when I thought you two were dead.”
“Well, we’re back now, Starr. You have nothing to worry about.” Cole says, reassuring her.
“So, what are we going to do today?”
“Well, let’s go on a family picnic.” Cole replies to Starr.
“That sounds like a great idea.”
Cole and Starr head downstairs to plan and make arrangements for their family picnic. They decide to go to their favorite spot in the park. As Cole are preparing for their picnic, Cole receives a text from Helena:
“I need to talk to you right away.”
When Cole sees it, he makes an excuse to leave Starr as she continues to prepare for their family picnic.
“Yes, Grandmother, what is it?”
“Stefan, I need to know how things went with Starr?”
“They are great, Grandmother. Starr doesn’t suspect a thing. She thinks I’m Cole and that the little girl in the playroom is her daughter Hope.” Stefan reassures her.
“Oh, thank you Stefan. I’m so glad you’re on my side. I thought your father, Stefan, Sr. would’ve turned you against me. I can now see where your loyalties now lie.”
“Yes, Grandmother. Now I have to get back to Starr before she wonders where I am.”
“You’re still going through with the wedding?”
“Yes, Grandmother. We’re discussing the arrangements. We’ve planned a family picnic at our favorite spot in the park.”
“Great! You’re doing a great job, Stefan. I knew you would never disappoint me.”
“Never, Grandmother.”
Stefan ends their call and heads back to the kitchen to help Starr with their picnic. He is falling in love with Starr after their night of lovemaking. He is going to make sure the real Cole stays in the cell back on that Greek island. He will do whatever it takes to make sure the real Cole doesn’t resurface.
Episode 4
Cole had to find his escape and he had to make it fast. He missed Starr and Hope so bad. But how was he going to get out of here. Helena was too smart to make a quick getaway. He had to be sneaky. Way more crafty than Helena. He had to be “a friend” to Helena to gain her trust. Cole saw his chance when Helena came into the dungeon.
“Well, good morning, Cole.” Helena greeted, proudly.
“Good morning, Helena.” Cole replied back.
“I brought your breakfast.”
“Thank you, Helena.”
“What’s this? Gratitude?”
“I got hungry. I was waiting for my breakfast.”
“Oh, so now you decide to cooperate?”
“Well, I was just thinking. . .I wanted to ask if you needed help around your place?” Cole inquired.
“What kind of help?” Helena, asked, curious.
“A manservant. Butler. I bet your mansion hasn’t been cleaned well in a very long time?”
“How would you know that?”
“You left your video monitor on down here last night.”
“What? How the he—-? I’ll have to talk to Carlos about that one.”
“The point is, I heard everything you and Carlos are planning. I know every little detail of your business dealings.”
“You learned all that from one video?”
“Yes. I studied everything.”
“So, what are you implying?”
“A deal.”
“What kind of deal?”
“I want to work for you. As your personal assistant.”
“Hmmmmmm. . .that’s not a bad idea.”
“So. . .do we have a deal?”
“Okay, Cole. . .you are now my p. a.”
“When do I get out of here to start my new job?”
“I’ll be down here in an hour. I’ll let you freshen up first. I’ll go prepare your new room for you. You’ll be living upstairs next to my suite.”
Helena left Cole to freshen up and get ready and a sly smile on his face. Cole had a plan to escape. He didn’t think it was going to be easy to gain Helena’s trust. He was looking forward to his plan.
Episode 5
Starr and Cole had just arrived at their favorite spot in the park with Hope, when Cole got a text and without notice, rushed back to the car without so much as a kiss. Cole had been acting strangely the last few days after they had renewed their love by making love. Cole wasn’t the loving man Starr had always known him to be. After they made love, Cole barely touched her anymore. She had yet to figure it out, but somehow, Cole wasn’t the man she knew him to be. But Starr didn’t want to think about that. She wanted to watch Hope play on the swings, and the slide. It made Starr happy just watching Hope play. Starr loved spending time and playing with Hope. So Starr spent the rest of the day in the park with Hope, pushing her on the swing and watching her on the slide, and pushing her on the merry-go-round.
While, back at Cole’s apartment……
“Okay Grandmother. I’m back at the apartment. What do you want that was so important? I was having a picnic with Starr and the Hope.”
“I’m sorry, Stefan. But it couldn’t be helped.”
“Well, what do you want?”
“I need you to keep a tight reign on Starr and Hope. I think Cole is planning an escape here. So I have moved him into the mansion as my personal assistant so I can keep a tight watch on him.”
“Just make sure he doesn’t ever escape. If Cole ever escapes and makes it back to Llanview, he’ll be sorry and so will anyone who allows him to escape.”
“Don’t worry, Stefan. Everything is under control. Cole is under my watch and the real Hope is right here in the nursery.”
“I hope so, Grandmother.”
And Stefan/Cole hung up. He had to get back to Starr and Hope. He had to make Starr his before the real Cole came back and reclaimed Starr as his wife. Stefan was not going to let that happen. He text Starr and told her he was on his way back to the park.
Episode 6
Cole was desperate to find where Helena put Hope. He had to find her and get back to starr. He missed Starr and Hope so badly. That’s why his plan to be Helena’s manservant had to work. He had to make Helena trust him enough to find where she hid Hope so he could make his escape with Hope and get back to Llanview and to Starr.
Cole’s moment was about to happen. Helena came into the dungeon and unlocked his chamber.
“Well, Cole, you’re free. You are officially my manservant. Don’t make me regret this.” Helena warned him.
“I won’t Ms. Cassadine.” Cole said, as he looked her in the eye.
“Well, you are in charge of housemaids, oversee all their work, and make sure everything is up to par the way I like.” Helena explained to Cole.
“Yes, Ma’am. I got it.”
Helena showed Cole to his new chambers in the Cassidine Palace. He got breakfast per Helena’s orders before settling into his new job as overseer of all the maids. But what Cole couldn’t wait for was to do everything in his power to locate Hope and get out of this dreary palace. So far, so good.
Back in Llanview……..
Stefan/Cole had taken Starr and Hope back to the apartment after their picnic. Starr took a sleepy Hope upstairs to her room and got her ready for bed, then laid her daughter in bed. She gazed at the little girl’s face. She had just noticed that something wasn’t right with Hope. Starr turned Hope’s face to look for the birthmark behind her ear. There was no birthmark. This little girl wasn’t Hope. If this wasn’t Hope, where was her daughter. All of a sudden, it hit her. This wasn’t her family. It wasn’t Cole downstairs. But if it wasn’t Cole, then who was it, and what did he want with her? It made her sick to her stomach knowing she had made love to him.
Starr had to be smart about this. She couldn’t let on that she knew Cole wasn’t who he claimed he was. Until she figured out the real story, she had to play along and let Cole, or whoever he was, believe he was Cole.
Episode 7
Cole found himself in Helena’s office while she was away. He managed to log onto her laptop and get her passcode, thanks to his college friend, Markko. Marrko was a whiz about that stuff. He told Cole how to hack into Helena’s laptop and get the passcode. Cole searched files for where she was hiding Hope. Cole nearly gave up when he finally came across a strange file titled “Starrhope”. Curious, Cole clicked on the file. And he was glad he did. Cole found photos of Starr, Hope and himself and all the information about the three of them. Then he clicked on another file that revealed videos of Hope at a daycare here on the Greek Island.
Now that Cole has found his daughter, he needed to find a way to make his escape, snatch Hope, and make his way back to Llanview.
Back in Llanview……..
Stefan/Cole had just come home from working at the office all day. He was hoping for a romantic night with Starr. Sure enough, Starr was ready for a romantic night, dressed in white lace lingerie. Stefan/Cole that he hit the jackpot when he saw her.
Starr invited him to their bed, kissed him, and started massaging him. Stefan/Cole was getting into it, but Starr was finding it hard to get into this. She only hoped she was a good actress. She didn’t want to let on to Cole that she knew it wasn’t him. She need to be convincing enough so Cole would not suspect she had any idea that it wasn’t him. The only problem was finding a way not to have sex and still be convincing. The thought now repulsed Starr of making love to whoever this man and she didn’t want to betray Cole now that she knew this man wasn’t Cole.
From Stefan/Cole’s point of view, Starr was really getting into the act and Stefan/Cole. He kissed and grabbed Starr indicating that he wanted more, but Starr got her wish as Hope started crying, giving Starr the opportunity to put this tryst to a halt. She told Cole that she heard Hope crying and must go see what was wrong. Obviously hurt, Stefan/Cole reluctantly got up off of Starr and let her tend to Hope.
Starr was more than relieved to be tending to Hope. The thought of having to touch that man made her cringe. She hugged Hope tighter to her chest, thanking Hope for her crying episode. She had to find information on this Cole before things got too far.
Episode 8
The next morning, Starr woke up in Hope’s bedroom sitting in the rocker. She must have dozed off next to Hope’s bed after she heard her cry. Starr hugged Hope, thankful that things didn’t have to do on any further. She knew that when Cole left, Starr would have to do some research on who this man posing as Cole was.
Cole came into Hope’s bedroom after he woke up to find that Starr wasn’t in their bed.
“There you are, Starr. You never came back to bed last night.” Cole inquired.
“I’m sorry. I must have dozed off after I got Hope back to sleep.” Starr told him.
“Well, I have to go to the office now. I’ll see you later tonight?”
Not looking at him, “Yeah, sure. See you tonight.”
Cole grabs his briefcase and leaves, frustrated. Things weren’t going as planned. As Helena promised him they would. Helena told him that if he helped her with this plan, he would have Starr and that little brat they borrowed from his cousin, Misha Cassadine. Helena’s plan was to hide the real Cole in the dungeon at Greek villa and have Stefan Jr. Play “house with Starr and “Hope.” But it wasn’t working out. He had to call his Grandmother.
“Hello, Stefan.” Helena said, hitting the accept button on her cell.
“Grandmother, things aren’t going as planned.” Stefan told her, sounding frustrated.
“Relax, Stefan. Be patient.” Helena told him, sounding irritated.
“Grandmother, you don’t understand. I think Starr suspects something.”
“How can she. She doesn’t know that the real Cole and Hope are still alive. She still thinks they are dead. And I’ve got the real Cole working for me so I can keep an eye on him better.” Helena reminds him.
“Well, Grandmother, I hope you are right?” Stefan tells her.
“Just don’t get to worried, dear. Or Starr will start to worry. Worrying just causes problems. Stop worrying, Stefan, everything will work itself out.”
“Okay, Grandmother. I’m at the office now. Talk to you later.” Stefan says, as he hangs up the cell.
Stefan hoped Grandmother was right. If he couldn’t have Starr as his wife, he would make everyone pay. …….
Meanwhile, at Helena’s Greek villa, Helena had given Cole an assignment to take some mail to the post office to be mailed to the States. Cole got his chance. Everything was set up to grab Hope and leave this miserable place. As soon as Helena gave him instructions with the letters to be mailed at the post office, he lied and told her he was taking Hope to the daycare. That allowed Cole to take Hope and hightail it out after Helena’s letters were dropped off.
He went to the nursery and picked up Hope. He gave her a kiss and a hug. He whispered in Hope’s ear that soon they would see her mommy. Then he took Hope and hopped into the car that he had managed to have hidden away about a mile from Helena’s Greek villa.
As soon as Cole saw the car he had stashed, he felt a sigh of relief. He continued walking towards the car. When he got to the car, he buckled Hope into the carseat, and got into the drivers seat, and drove off.
Episode 9
Cole arrived at the airport and was able to get a flight that would be bound for Llanview, Pennsylvania, USA. He checked in only two bags for him and Hope as he had no time to gather a whole lot. He wanted out of that creepy castle as soon as possible and get back to Starr. God knows what she was going through. All Cole knew was that someone was impersonating him and Hope rom the video he saw Helena as she was talking to someone named Stefan. Cole never did find out why Helena was doing this and he didn’t really care why. He just wanted to get to Starr as quickly as possible because he had a strange feeling that something was not right with Starr; he didn’t know what, but he knew something wasn’t right.
Hope pulled on Cole’s sleeve, indicating that she was hungry. Just in time, as the flight attendant was just coming to their seat asking what they wanted for their meal. Cole asked Hope what she wanted and she picked a chicken finger meal, and Cole picked a BLT with fries meal. The flight attendant brought their dinner promptly within ten minutes of ordering.
Back in Llanview………
Starr managed to fend off an amorous Stefan/Cole saying that she had to visit her father at The Sun. She lied and told her it was an emergency and that her father needed her and Jack and Dani for a emergency family meeting.
But Stefan/Cole didn’t buy the story. He grabbed Starr Hope as she was about to leave and and whisked her in his car. They were heading for the airport to make a quick and hasty flight out of the US. Stefan/Cole couldn’t afford to have the real Cole find Starr now. He would make Starr his, at no cost. Once inside the limo, Stefan/Cole called the airport to see if the Cassadine jet would be ready when they arrived. The air-traffic controller confirmed that it would be ready for take-off when he arrived.
Cole and Hope arrived in Llanview and were getting the bags from baggage claim just as Stefan/Cole, Starr and Hope were arriving at the airport to board the Cassadine jet. Cole hollered out to Starr, but Stefan/Cole quickly held her by the arm and hurried her and Hope to the Cassadine jet. Cole dropped his and Hope’s bags and picked up Hope and followed Starr and Stefan/Cole and and the little girl that was impersonating Hope to the jet they were about to board. Quick on his feet, Cole had already alerted airport security and they had beat Stefan to the jet before he could board with Starr and Hope.
As airport security were taking Stefan in for questioning, Starr ran to Cole waiting arms.
“Cole, I can’t believe it’s you.” Starr exclaimed, crying in his arms.
“I had to come when I figured out what Helena and this Stefan had planned.” Cole said, hugging her.
“I figured out it wasn’t you a few weeks ago, but had to pretend I didn’t know so he wouldn’t suspect.” Starr confessed.
Stefan shouts back as airport security are escorting him out, “You won’t win, Cole! I will have Starr! Just you wait! I’ll be back!

Starr and Cole hugged each other and the real Hope in their arms. They were so happy to finally be together, they ignored Stefan’s warning. They just wanted to get their life back after Cole and Hope were confirmed dead for so long. Starr thought to herself, “It’s so good to have my little girl and Cole back. Something deep inside me told me they were still alive, but for everyone else’s sake, I had to pretend they were dead.”

Stefan is sitting in the holding cell waiting to be transported to the jail when Helena walks in.
“Stefan, you disappoint me so much!” Helena looks at him with a disgusted look.
“This is your fault, grandmother! You promised you had that Cole under your thumb!” Stefan spat back at her.
“If you had just trusted me, Stefan, you wouldn’t be stuck in this cell. You would be on the jet with Starr. But you chose to do things your way.” Helena reminded him.
“Just get me out of her, grandmother.” Stefan pleaded with her.
“I don’t see why I should?”
“Because you owe me!”
“I think I’ll let you sit in here for a night or two. Let you cool your heels for awhile.”
“Please. . .grandmother. . .”
But Stefan’s cries fell on deaf ears as Helena walked out of the jail alone. Stefan was mad. He would seek his revenge when he got out. Grandmother, Cole, and Starr. . .they would be sorry for everything. . . . . .
Episode 10
Starr woke up in Cole’s arms. She jumped out of bed, believing that it was the fake Cole, Stefan.
“What are you doing here?” Starr screamed at the real Cole, who was confused for a moment.
Getting his thoughts together, he calmly got up out o bed, and went to calm Starr down.
“Starr, it’s okay. It’s me, Cole. Stefan is in jail, where he belongs. I got in last night with Hope.”
Looking at him, she kissed him, realizing he was right.
“Oh, Cole, can you ever forgive me?” Starr asked.
“Sh-sh-sh! It’s okay!” Cole holds her. “It’s been a rough year for the three of us.”
Cole pulls Starr in for a romantic kiss on the cheek, then slides her blouse off her arm, rubbing her breast in his fingers. Starr pulls off Cole’s black t-shirt, rubbing his chest with her hand. Cole lays Starr tenderly on their bed and begins to make love to her. They both enjoy a tender moment in each others arms, giving into each other after two long years. After, they lay in each others arms, enjoying each others company.
Suddenly, a loud noise comes from down the hall, almost from Hope’s nursery. Cole jumps up out of bed, slips on his pants, and is outside the bedroom, while Starr fumbles to find her robe.
By the time Starr arrives down in Hope’s nursery, Cole is there, holding an unconscious Hope in his arms, trying to stop the bleeding from a gunshot wound.
“Oh my gosh, Cole! What happened?” Starr exclaims.
“I don’t know. By the time I got here, Hope was bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound.” Cole tells a frantic Starr. “I don’t even know how she got shot?”
Without thinking, Starr runs down stairs to retrieve her cell. Starr dials 9-1-1 and is on the phone with a dispatcher by the time she gets back up to Hope’s nursery.
“Yes, I need an ambulance, immediately.” Starr informs the dispatcher.
“What is your location?” the dispatcher asks.
“123 Llanview Terrace, Apt 13.” Starr replies.
“Okay, Miss. We have an ambulance on its way.” the dispatcher tells Starr.
Paramedics arrive and knock on the door, where Starr is waiting to escort them upstairs and down the hall to Hope’s nursery. The paramedics asses Hope’s condition and manage to stabilize Hope’s vitals. They put Hope on a stretcher carry her downstairs and out to the ambulance where she is placed on a gurney. Cole and Starr hop into the ambulance to ride with Hope along with a paramedic inside the ambulance, as the other paramedic hops into the driver’s seat and turns on the siren and drives to Llanview Hospital, where Dr. Michael McBain is waiting for their arrival.
As Dr. McBain is working on Hope, Alison Perkins, dressed as a nurse, comes out and escorts Cole and Starr out into the waiting area. She hands Starr insurance forms for them to fill out while they frantically wait for news on Hope. While Starr is filling out the forms, Cole is calling Starr’s parents, Todd Manning and Blair Cramer, and his mother, Marty Saybrooke about Hope. Concerned, they inform Cole that they are all on their way to the hospital.
Detective John McBain arrives at the hospital to question Cole and Starr and get their permission to go to their apartment to investigate Hope’s nursery for evidence of the shooting. Cole and Starr gladly give John their permission and answer his questions. Afterward, John gives CSU investigator, Natalie Buchanan, and his fiancee the news that she can head over to Cole and Starr’s apartment to investigate any leads in the shooting.
While Cole and Starr, along with Todd and Blair and Marty wait for news of Hope’s condition, Stefan, who is out on bail, courtesy of his grandmother, who felt sorry for him, watches a recording of Starr and Cole at the hospital. Stefan, laughing maniacally to him self, while muttering out loud to himself, “None of you will ever figure out that I was responsible for the gunshot that shot your little girl.”
Episode 11
Natalie Buchanan opens the door to Starr and Cole’s apartment. But she doesn’t get far when she is knocked unconscious. The masked intruder pulls Natalie’s limp body inside the apartment and lays it on the living room floor. Then the intruder rummages through the apartment until they manage to find what they are looking for: the insurance document Stefan had taken out on Starr. The intruder puts the document in his pocket and heads out the window before the door is open by John McBain.
John rushes over to Natalie who is lying unconscious on the floor. After finding a pulse, John frantically rouses Natalie until she comes to.
“Oh, man, my head hurts.” Natalie utters, as she comes out of consciousness. “What happened?”
“I found you lying on the floor when I came in.” John told her , sounding worried.
Natalie looks up at him, “John.” She puts her hand up to his face.
“You gave me a scare when I came in here.”
John was relieved when Natalie woke up. They had had a rough start lately. Natalie had just forgiven him and taken him back, and the two were getting married, so he didn’t want to take no chances.
“Do you want to go home?” John asked. “I can take over here.”
“That’s why I love you. You’re so sweet. I think I’ll be fine. Just a little bump on the head. Besides I want to help you catch this Stefan.” Natalie told him.
“It looks like someone was looking for something.” John says, looking around at Starr and Cole’s trashed apartment.
“Yeah, it wasn’t like this when I was coming in.” Natalie says, remembering. “But that’s all I remember. I don’t even remember coming into the apartment.”
“The intruder must have dragged your body in and ransacked the apartment.” John said.
John went over to the open file box. “Whatever they wanted, they must have found it?”
“Yeah, Starr’s file box is all messed up.” Natalie adds. “Especially the one marked ‘Insurance?’ “
Natalie gives her cousin, Starr a call on her cell, who picks up immediately.
“Hello, Natalie.” Starr says.
“Yes, Starr, did you have some kind of insurance?” Natalie asks her.
“Yes, on Cole and Hope. Why do you ask?”
“We noticed your file box open and your files messed up, especially the insurance file.”
“Who would want insurance forms on Cole and Hope?” Starr questions.
“Those are still here, but there is something missing though. Can’t seem to figure out which one though.”
“I’ll go through it when I get home, Natalie, and get back to you.” Starr tells her.
“Thanks Starr, that would be great.”
They both end the call.
“Well, Starr doesn’t seem to know but would check it out when she gets home.” Natalie informs John.
While Natalie and John search Cole and Starr’s apartment for clues, Starr and Cole are holding vigil waiting for word on Hope.
Episode 12
Dr. Michael McBain comes out of surgery with news for Starr and Cole.
“Michael, how is Hope?” Starr and Cole asked, frantic.
“She came through surgery just fine. She’s in recovery right now. I expect a full recovery. Before you go in to see her, Hope will be a little groggy and sleepy.”
“Thank you, Michael, for everything!” Starr said, with gratitude.
“It’s nothing, Starr. Now go in and see your daughter.” Michael demanded.
Starr and Cole go in first to see Hope. She is still hooked up to a respirator. Starr goes over to Hope’s crib and holds her hand.
“Hey, there, Hope. Mommy and daddy are here.”
Cole pulls up a chair on the other side of the bed and holds Hope’s other hand. Starr holds Cole’s other hand and they sit in silence praying for comfort and strength.
Stefan picks up his cell and pushes the button to Alison’s cell:
“Hello?” Alison Perkins picks up her cell.
“Alison, what is the news on Hope?” Stefan asks.
“Hope made it through surgery and is doing remarkably well.” Alison informs him.
“Dammit, Alison! I thought you said that Hope wasn’t going to make it!”
“Well, it looked like she wasn’t going to pull through. Then Michael McBain pulled a miracle and managed to save Hope.”
“Damn those McBains!” Stefan yelled. “They’ve always been the bane of the Cassadines!”
“Well, boss! What do we do now?” Alison asked.
“I want you to kidnap both John and Michael!” Stefan ordered her.
“Yes, boss!”
“Andre will be waiting in the van for you when you lure John and Michael.”
“Got it, boss!”
And Stefan hung up with Alison to let her do what he told her. He called Andre and informed him to wait in the van for word that Alison had John and Michael McBain. The McBain brothers would not foul up his plans.
Chapter 13
James Ford had been listening to Stefan’s plans via a bug planted in his room in Llanview. Now that he knew what Stefan’s plans were, James intended to let John and Michael know just what was in store for them. He headed for Llanview hospital to let John and Michael know what Stefan had planned.
As James knocked on Hope Manning-Thornhart’s hospital room, where Cole and Starr were rejoicing at the news that their daughter came through the surgery, there were shots that came through Hope’s hospital window.
Starr ducked and covered Hope with her body as everybody else ducked for cover. When the last of the shots stopped, Cole raised his head and looked over at Hope’s hospital bed and was horrified to see blood coming from Hope. He shook Hope and Starr, only to discover the blood wasn’t Hope’s but Starr’s. Thanks to Starr’s bravery, Hope was saved from the blasts, but Starr was shot several times in the back.
Cole screamed for help and pushed Hope’s call button as Marcy came running into Hope’s room. When she saw what had happened, she paged a code red over the intercom and several nurses and doctors came in to see what was wrong.
“Starr’s been shot!” Cole yelled, as the nurses sprang into action to stop bleeding coming from the back of Starr.
When they had managed to get Starr’s vital signs stablized, she was immediately rushed to O.R. For immediate surgery.
Dr. Michael McBain was paged to surgery, but he was a no-show for Starr’s surgery. No one could find him, or John McBain for that matter.
Allison had seized both Michael and John per Stefan’s orders while the shooting was taking place.
Finally after everything was dying down, Cole looked over in the corner of Hope’s hospital room to find James lying in a pool of his own blood. He had been shot before he could inform Michael and John what was going to transpire, then died almost instantly.
Chapter 14
Cole assumed that James was here to convince Starr to come back to him and shouted loudly to a dead-James: “Serves you right, James! You couldn’t handle Starr coming back to me! I’m glad you’re dead!”
Just as he said that, James brother, Nick walked into Hope’s hospital room, “Cole, you have it all wrong!”
“What do you mean?” Cole asked Nick.
“James came here to alert you and Starr that he overheard Stefan ordering Allison Perkins to kidnap John and Michael.”
“James did that?” Cole said shocked.
“Yes, he overheard what Stefan was planning and came here to try stop it.”
“And he got shot and killed in the process.” Cole said. “And Starr may lose her life as well.”
Just as Cole said that, the doctor who was called in to replace Michael walked into Hope’s hospital room.
“Mr. Thornhart, I have good news for you.”
“Yes, doctor?”
“Starr came through surgery remarkably well and is resting in the adjoining room next to your daughter’s.”
“Oh, thank you doctor.” Cole said. “May I go see her?”
“Yes, you may.”
“Robert, will you look after Hope?”
“I’d be glad to.”
As Robert sat down next to Hope’s bedside, Cole went next door to see Starr. She was resting, still on a ventilator when Cole went inside Starr’s room to see her, along with the doctor.
“It’s only for precaution.” the doctor told Cole. “We will be removing it tomorrow. Starr is making remarkable progress.”
“Thank you.”
Cole sat down next to Starr and held her hand, “I’m so grateful you’re going to be alright.”
Cole kissed Starr tenderly on the lips as he lay next to her in her hospital bed and held her.
Meanwhile, Allison was driving the van that was supposed to take John and Michael to the abandoned warehouse Stefan ordered her to take John and Michael has gone off the side of the road.
Allison wakes to find John holding a gun on her, as she spies a patrol car sitting next to the wrecked van.
“What is going on?” Allison asks.
“You’re going to take me to whoever order you to kidnap us.”
“Like hell I will!” Allison snapped.
“Yes, you will, or you’ll find yourself behind bars.”
Allison got in the back seat of the patrol car as John got in the driver’s seat and Michael in the passenger’s seat next to John.
Chapter 15
Starr woke up to find herself in Cole’s arms. It felt so good to be in his arms, Starr thought. She never wanted to be separated from Cole again. Or Hope either. But just as Starr and Cole were about to make love in her hospital bed, Blair and Todd knock on her door.
“Come in.” Starr said, composing herself before her visitors came in.
“Starr! Cole!” a frantic Blair, with Todd by her side said.
“What’s wrong, mother?” Starr asked, concerned.
“It’s Hope!” Blair said, distraughtly.
“What’s wrong with her?” Cole and Star said in unison.
“She’s been kidnapped!” Blair said, about to fall, but Todd caught her before she could fall.
“Who would take Hope?” Starr said in disbelief.
“Well, they left a note.” Todd said, handing his daughter the note Blair found.
Starr took the note from her father and read it:
“Dear Starr,
If you want to see your daughter again, meet me in our favorite spot.”
The note wasn’t signed, but Starr knew who it was.
“It’s Stefan.” Starr said.
“Are you sure?” Todd asked, with Cole nodding along with him.
“Yes, dad, I’m positive.” Starr explained. “Stefan hasn’t given up on us. He still wants me.”
“Well, I will go with you.” Todd demanded. “I don’t want you to go alone.”
“Dad, that’s nice of you, but I think I can handle Stefan myself.” Starr told her father, touched by his care. “Besides, Stefan won’t want anyone but me there.”
“Then, you’ll wear a wire.” Todd demanded.
“I agree with your father.” Cole told Starr.
“Okay. I’ll wear the wire.” Starr promised, getting up from her hospital bed and getting her clothes.
“Whoa, where are you going?” Todd said.
“I’m getting dressed so I can meet Stefan and get my daughter back.”
“But you’re recovering.”
“I need to get my daughter.” Starr protested. “That’s all that’s matters right now.”

Meanwhile, Stefan looked in on a sleeping Hope in the crib he had gotten her while waiting for Starr to show up.
“Well, Hope, your mommy will be here soon.” Stefan said to Hope. “And we will finally be a family.”

Desperate Passions: A Todd Manning Fanfiction

Todd Manning woke up in a mental hospital in a strait jacket. The last thing he remembers is making love to Carly Jacks. He was headed to the Metro Court’s kitchen to find some food after their night of passion. He was just headed back up to his room with some leftover hot n spicy wings, mozzarella sticks, quesadillas, and some sodas, when he felt a sharp blow from a blunt object hit his head, before passing out. After coming to, and realizing that he is in a strait jacket, Todd struggles to free himself from the strait jacket when his captor comes in. It is none other, than his mother, Irene Manning! Now, Todd is extremely confused, because he thought he killed her and dumped her body in the river after she tried to kill him and his family with that bomb she had planted in his penthouse.
“Well, hello, Todd Dear.” Irene says.
“Yes, Todd, it’s mommy! Did you think you could get rid of me so easily?”
“How did you survive?”
“Mitch Laurence!”
“Mitch Laurence? But John and Natalie killed him?”
“Well, guess he survived too.”
“Geez, doesn’t anyone die in Llanview?” Todd questions. “So, what do you want?”
“I need you to help me get rid of Mitch and Alison Perkins.”
“What? Alison is involved?”
“Yes, she fished your brother out of the river after you shot him and kept him captive for months. Now Victor Jr. is alive and snuggling up to Blair.”
“Blair?” Todd almost chokes.
“Yes, Todd, your brother is in Blair’s bed. Are you going to help me with MItch and Alison?”
“What do you want me to do?”
“I’ll get back to you. I’m still working on the details.”
Irene leaves Todd in the secret room at the mental institution she had set up for Todd. Todd is worried about what his mother wants, and even more worried what Mitch and Alison want too. Even more disturbing is that his twin brother, Victor, Jr. is alive. . .after he shot him and threw his body in the river.
Episode 2
Todd wakes up in his secret room at the mental institution, but no longer in the strait jacket. There is a tray with breakfast of hot coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. The sun is coming in the small window in his room; the only source of light in this dreary room. Todd is still wondering what his mother wants from him, as he gulps the breakfast down before the staff come in and grab the tray. Todd knows to eat what is brought in quick or some staff member will take the tray from you.
Back at Irene Manning’s penthouse suite at Llanview Hotel…
“Max, how did it go?” Irene asks, sounding worried.
“Relax, Ms. Manning. Everything is going to plan.” Max replies, reassuring her.
“This plan can’t backfire. It’s imperative that we get Victor, Jr. away from that pesky Alison Perkins. I need Victor, Jr. back here now to keep Carly Jacks out of Todd’s life.”
“Yes, Ms. Manning. Victor, Jr. will be back in Llanview later today. I have a meeting set with Alison to make the trade.”
“See to it that it doesn’t go awry, or I’ll have your head.”
Todd has found a way to escape the mental institution that his mother had him put in. He just has to wait until the right moment to make his escape. He has to get back to Port Charles. Carly must be going out of her mind wondering where he is. Todd remembers the night of lovemaking he and Carly had before his mother took him away and put him in this institution. What is it with his mother to keep everyone he loves from him? First, Blair and his children, now it’s Carly. Well, his mother won’t win this time. He won’t let her ruin his happiness with Carly like she did with Blair.
Episode 3
Victor Jr. has managed to free himself from the shackles that Allison Perkins tied him to the bed in, while Allison busied herself in the kitchenette preparing their dinner.
“Just where do you think you are going?” Allison asks Victor Jr. just as he is about to sneak out of Allison’s hotel room.
“I’m blowing this joint!” Victor Jr. blasts at her.
“Oh, no you’re not!”
Allison hits Victor Jr. over the head with a lamp, knocking him out cold and sending him to the floor. Allison ties Victor Jr. up and settles him in her car.
“You naughty boy, Victor. Now you’ll be sorry for trying to escape!” Allison tells an unconscious Victor Jr.
Todd has just escaped the mental institution where Irene Manning put him just as Irene decides to pay him another visit.
Unlocking the door to Todd’s room, “How the hell did he managed to escape?”
Irene is livid as Todd has made his way back to Port Charles and Carly’s room at the Metro Court.
“Hello beautiful!” Todd says as Carly answers her door.
“Todd, where have you been?” Carly asks him.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”
“I was so worried when you disappeared after we made love.”
“My crazy mother had me locked away at a mental institution.”
“OMG! Why would she do that?”
“She wanted me to find my twin brother.”
“I thought he was dead?”
“Apparently he’s alive and Allison Perkins has him. Now I need to find my brother and warn him.”
“When will you go?”
“Right away.”
Todd kisses Carly before he leaves her hotel room.
Episode 4
Todd heads to Llanview in search of Alison Perkins. Todd is tired of playing these games with his mother. All he wants is to find his brother, and get back to Port Charles and to Carly. He stops by his sister, Viki’s house at Llanfair. He figures Viki may know something about Alison’s whereabouts. But when he arrives at Llanfair, he walks in on a crisis just as he is about to ring the doorbell.
“Hello? Viki? Anyone here?” Todd walks inside the open door at Llanfair.
Todd hears a man’s voice barking orders. It sounds much like Mitch Laurence’s voice. He hears the voice coming from the sitting area and walks in only to find Mitch holding his niece Jessica in his arms. Mitch is here to claim his daughter and her two children, Bree and Ryder.
“I’m taking what is mine. My daughter, Jessica, and her two children, Bree and Ryder, my grandchildren.” Mitch states.
Clint Buchanan adds, “But Jessica is my daughter. Viki and I had DNA tests re-run after Alison let it slip that I, not you, am Jessica’s father.”
“Alison let it slip out that you’re Jessica’s father?”
“Yes, Mitch. I am Jessica’s father. Not you.”
Todd chimes in, “So why don’t you just mosey on out of here before I throw your ass out of here.”
After all the commotion has died down, Todd asks to speak with Viki. They go out onto the patio to talk.
“So, Viki, have you seen Alison Perkins?” Todd asked her.
“No, I haven’t seen here since she let slip about Clint being Jessica’s father.” Viki replied back.
“Well, Irene is back. . .back from the dead.”
“What? But Todd, you shot her dead?”
“Yes, I know. . .Mitch saved her. Irene is on a mission to find my twin brother, Victor, Jr., and she wants me to find him.”
“Victor, Jr. is alive too?” Viki asks, bewildered.
“Yes, and Alison has him hidden somewhere. I need to find my brother and warn him about our mother.”
“I think she wants Victor to ruin my relationship with Carly Jax. They way she tried to ruin my relationship with Blair and the kids by having Victor, Jr. pose as me to get Victor’s inheritance. Victor, Jr. has always been Irene’s favorite son, the one ousted by the Great Victor Lord.”
“Oh, wait, I think I remember now. I saw Alison coming from the Llanview Hotel just a few days ago.” Viki added.
“Great sis! You’re a lifesaver!” He kisses his sister on the forehead and heads out.
Todd waits outside the Llanview Hotel waiting for Alison to come into the hotel. He didn’t have to wait long as she was coming back to the hotel within twenty minutes of arriving at the hotel.
Episode 5
Todd used his charm to get housekeeping to let him into Allison’s suite. He was waiting inside as he heard the key turn in the lock. Allison was surprised to see Todd waiting inside her suite.
“Well, it’s about time you returned.” Todd said as soon as Allison got inside her suite.
“What are you doing here? How did you get in?” Allison queried, surprised.
“I have my connections. That’s all you need to know.”
“So, Todd, what do you want?”
“So, where do you have my brother hidden?”
“What makes you think I know where Victor, Jr. is?”
“A little birdie told me. . . . Seriously, where are you hiding my brother?”
“I don’t have your brother, and I never did.”
“C’mon Allison. I have proof that you kept my brother hidden in this suite.”
“Well, your proof is wrong. Now get out of my suite before I call security.”
“Okay. But I’m watching you, Allison.”
Todd leaves Allison’s suite. He gives his henchman, Steve, the order, with a wink to take down Allison. Then calmly leaves and lets things go down as planned. Steve and his partners nab Allison and take her off to a out-of-the way mental institution.
Meanwhile, back in Llanview…..
Todd shows up at La Boulee, to see Blair. He is surprised by what he sees in the window. Blair is in a liplock with his own brother, Victor, Jr. He knocks on the door, interrupting the kiss.
Answering the door, “Todd?” Blair looks surprised.
“Hello, Blair. How did Victor get here?”
“He’s been in Llanview since you left.”
“You’ve been sleeping with my brother for weeks now?”
“Well, you took off and hooked up with Carly. So when Victor showed up, things just reignited for us.”
“I took off because John McBain had me arrested for Victor’s murder.”
“You jumped bail and took off to Port Charles to go after Cole for taking Starr and Hope away.”
“Well, I had to get Starr and Hope back and make her realize that Cole was wrong for her.”
“Well, you got your wish when Cole and Hope were killed in that car crash set by Johnny Zaccara.”
Victor chimes in, “Johnny Zaccara killed Cole and Hope?”
“Yes, after months of thinking it was Connie Falconeri, we all learned that it was Johnny that did it.”
“I got to go, Blair” he kisses her before leaving.
“What, no hug for your bro—-?” as Victor runs out of La Boulee.
As Todd and Blair finish their conversation, Victor got in his car and drove to the prison where Johnny Zaccara was serving his time. He had to have a talk with Johnny. He had to make sure that he wasn’t fingered as the mastermind behind the shooting that killed Cole and Hope. Victor had to make sure that everyone in Llanview never found out that he was behind Johnny shooting the car that killed Cole and Hope.
Episode 6
Allison gets a text from Mitch Laurence:
“My suite. N 30 minutes. It’s urgent.”
What was she going to tell Mitch? She couldn’t face Mitch knowing that Victor Jr. escaped from her suite. Mitch was going to be so mad. Allison decided to just go over to Mitch’s suite and face the music.
Allison knocked on Mitch’s door. Mitch answered the door.
“Get in here, now!”
“Gee, who got your knickers in a bunch?!”
“How the hell did you manage to let Victor get away?!”
“He somehow broke free of his handcuffs.”
“Plan A is ruined, Alison. Now we have to go to Plan B.”
“No, not Plan B!”
“Yes. You let Victor escape. Now you must pay. You need to get Todd to marry you.”
“Not Todd. He’ll never go for it.”
“Well, it’s the only way, Allison.”
“How am I suppose to get Todd Manning to marry me?”
“You’ll come up with something. You’re sly and crafty. Do it before Todd leaves Llanview for Port Charles and goes back to Carly Jacks.”
“Yes, Mitch.”
Mitch sees Allison out the door. When he closes it behind her, Allison wonders how she will convince Todd Manning to marry her? It was going to be a challenge to get Todd to the altar.
Todd makes a call to Carly to tell her how much he misses her.
“Hello, Todd.” Carly says, pushing the green button on her cell.
“Hi, Carly. I miss you so much.”
“How are things going?”
“Not good. I have been looking for my brother. He seems to be keeping his distance from me.”
“Well, you did shoot him thinking you killed him.”
“Well, apparently I need to find Allison Perkins. She had him hidden in her suite for months before anybody knew he was still alive.”
“Gee, she sounds like a psycho.”
“She is. She’s also working for that evil Mitch Laurence. Somehow he’s behind this mess.”
“Well, be careful Todd. I couldn’t take it if anything happened to you.”
“I will Carly. I love you.”
Each ends the call telling each other how much they love each other. Just as Todd has ended the call, he is grabbed from behind as someone places a rag doused in chloroform. The mysterious figure then places Todd’s body into the back of the van, then climbs into the driver’s seat and drives off.
Episode 7
Todd wakes up in Allison’s hotel suite dressed in a tuxedo and a ring on his left third finger and a little woozy. Allison is no where in her suite.
“Where the hell am I?” Todd asks, looking at the wedding band on his finger. “What the hell is this?”
Coming into her suite, Allison cheerfully gives Todd a kiss, “Hello, husband dear! How was your nap?”
“We’re married?” a shocked Todd shrieks. “How the hell did that happen?!”
“Well, you took me to Vegas in your jet, we drank a whole lot. . .and the next thing I knew, you had popped the question and placed this ring on my finger and we were at the Las Vegas chapel saying our ‘I do’s.’ “ Allison chides Todd.
“You’re joking?” Todd questions her.
“Well, yes, about those details.” Allison jokes. “Actually, . . .”
“Never mind.” Todd interrupts her. “I don’t want to know the details. I just want an annulment.”
“Well, husband dear, that’s not possible.” Allison informs him.
“And why is that?”
“Well, you see, Todd, we both signed statements saying we would be married for one year before ending this marriage.”
Todd jumps up from the bed. “One year?!”
“Yes, Todd dear, we have to show that we are a happy couple for one year.” Allison revels in telling Todd.
“I want to see these papers I signed. I don’t remember signing any papers.” Todd demands.
“Well, you were pretty drunk when you signed them. But I’ll give our attorney a call in the morning and ask him to give you a copy.”
“Yes, Allison, you do that.”
“Well, look at the time. I need to go see someone right now. I trust you’ll be here when I return?” Allison says, as she darts out the door.
Todd just gives Allison a look as she is leaving. How the hell did he get married to Allison Perkins? And what was he going to tell Carly? One thing was for certain, Todd was going to get out of this marriage, even if he had to kill Allison to do it.
Episode 8
Allison shows up at Mitch’s office flaunting the ring on her finger.
“Well, boss, it’s done!”
“You managed to get Todd Manning to marry you?! Mitch asks. “How did you manage to do it?”
“Never mind the details, boss! I am Todd Manning’s wife and that’s all that matters.”
“Well, congratulations, Allison. Now for your next assignment.”
“Yes, boss.”
“Kidnap Carly Jacks!” Mitch demanded. “I have a plan to snare Todd and I need Carly Jacks here as bait.”
“Yes, boss.” Allison agreed.
“I have rented you a car to drive to Port Charles and get the job done.” Mitch handed Allison the keys to the rental car. “Leave tonight.”
“So much for a honeymoon?!” Allison joked, not that she was looking forward to one. “Yes, boss, I’ll leave tonight.”
Allison left Mitch’s office and headed for the rental car. She dialed Todd’s cell but it went to voicemail:
“Hey, Todd, sorry to ruin our lovely wedding night, but duty calls and I need to make a sudden business trip. I’ll be out of town for a few days. Good-bye husband dear.”
But Todd was on his way to Port Charles to see Carly. But he doesn’t get there as he is his car is hit by another car and goes off the side of the road, leaving Todd unconscious.
Episode 9
As Allison realized that he had just hit Todd’s car, she headed straight to Port Charles and did as Mitch asked.
Todd woke up and realized he had just been hit and his car was on the side of the road in a ravine. He picked up his cell to see that he had a voicemail. He pushed the icon to listen to the voicemail and heard that Allison was going “out of town on business.”
He got out of his wrecked car and walked up the side of the ravine. He walked along the side of the road hoping to hitch a ride to Port Charles.
Within fifteen minutes, he managed to get a ride from someone also on their way to Port Charles. It was Franco. Todd discovered him and Franco had one thing in common: their dislike for Sonny Corinthos.
When Franco and Todd had arrived in Port Charles, Todd asked Franco to drop him off at The MetroCourt so he could talk to his girlfriend, Carly. But not before getting Franco’s cell just in case he needed an ally.
Todd went up to Carly’s room to talk to Carly, but to his surprise, Carly wasn’t there. Then he went to his room that Carly promised she would hold whenever he came back to Port Charles. But she wasn’t there either.
He dialed her son, Michael’s number: “Hello?” Michael answered his cell.
“Michael, it’s ‘Todd Manning.”
“Yes, Todd, what do you want?”
“Have you seen your mother?” Todd asked. “It’s imperative that I talk to her.”
“Sorry, Todd, but I haven’t spoken to my mother today.” Michael told him.
“Okay, thank you Michael.” Todd said and ended the call.
Todd thought it funny that Carly hadn’t checked in with Michael. She always checked in on her children. Something was up and he figured Sonny Corinthos had something to do with it.
Todd did the next thing he could think of: He dialed Franco’s cell.
Episode 10
Todd agreed to meet Franco at Kelly’s in Port Charles. As he waited, he saw Sonny Corinthos meeting with his henchman, Shawn. Todd assumed he was discussing where he took Carly and he fumed inside, his fists clenched.
Just then Franco arrived to meet Todd, who also saw Sonny with Shawn.
“Doesn’t that man ever quit?” Franco asked, sitting in the booth across from Todd.
“Apparently not!” Todd answered him.
“I’m glad you agreed to meet me, Todd. I feel we could become real good friends.”
“I just want to take Sonny down.” Todd told Franco. “It’s time Sonny was brought to his knees!”
“I agree. What better way than to take down Sonny’s territory?”
“Yes, Sonny needs to go!” Todd agreed with Franco.
“He can’t get away with what he did?”
“What did Sonny do?” Franco asked Todd, but Todd was vague in answering him.
“He took away my girlfriend! And he won’t get away with it!”
“You’re right. I want Sonny to pay for what he did to me too.”
“So why are you so hot to ruin Sonny?”
“He took away my girlfriend too?” Franco answered Todd vaguely as well.
“So we’re both agreed? We take down Sonny and his territory?”
“That’s the plan!” Franco told Todd, as they shook hands on the deal.
Meanwhile. . .
Carly had woke up in Llanview in Mitch’s secret room, Allison had brought her after she arrived back in Llanview.
Episode 11
“Oh my god! My head hurts!” Carly calls out.
Mitch holds Carly’s hand as she wakes up. His face is the first she sees.
“W-w-who are you?” Carly asked, confused.
“Well, nice of you to wake up, Gorgeous!” Mitch said.
“Where am I?” Carly asks.
“You’re in my care, Ms. Jacks.” Mitch explains.
“I’m sorry. I don’t seem to recognize you.” Carly says.
“Just relax Gorgeous.” Mitch tries to make Carly stay in bed.
“I can’t. I have to find Todd.”
“Todd? You aren’t talking about Todd Manning?” Mitch asks.
“Yes, he’s my boyfriend.” Carly tells him. “I was supposed to meet him.”
“Well, I think Todd will come looking for you.”
“How do you know that?”
“Because I had you kidnapped to trap Todd.” Mitch explains. “I’m sure he’s looking for you at this moment.”
Meanwhile. . .
Todd and Franco were headed to Sonny’s warehouse to plant some cocaine and frame Sonny for cocaine possession. But they hit a snag. Michael was there at the warehouse looking over some shipments that were delivered. Todd and Franco had to hide out until Michael left so they could plant the cocaine in the warehouse.
It seemed like hours waiting for Michael to leave, but after an hour, Michael was headed out. As soon as Michael left, Franco and Todd put the cocaine into one of the boxes that Michael had been inspecting.
Then they left the warehouse where Franco put in an anonymous call to the PCPD to report the ‘drug possession’ at Sonny’s warehouse.
Episode 12
“Oh my god, my head hurts!” Carly says, with Mitch standing over her.
Carly jumps up, her head pounding. “Who the hell are you?”
“No, wonder Todd adores you so much.” Mitch says, maniacally.
“Who are you and where the hell am I?” Carly asks, shaken up.
“I’m your worst nightmare. . .come true!” Mitch tells her, with a laugh.
“I asked who you are?” Carly shrieks.
“Don’t worry your pretty little head, Carly.” Mitch tells her, rubbing her back to soothe her.
“Don’t touch me!” Carly says, as she backs away from him.
“Relax, Carly!” Mitch orders her. “All in good time! All in good time, will you know what is going on! That is, if Todd does as he’s told!”
“Todd!” Carly shrieks again. “What have you done with Todd?”
“Nothing, Carly.” Mitch explains. “You’ll be free as soon as I get word that Todd has done as he is instructed.”
Mitch kisses Carly on the lips, but she resists, pulling away.
“You just rest here and wait.” Mitch orders. “I’ll let you know when the time is up.”
Mitch walks out of the room leaving Carly alone.
Meanwhile. . .
PCPD has been dispatched to Sonny’s warehouse after Todd’s 9-1-1 call to the PCPD. There are cops all over the warehouse when Sonny’s right hand man, Shawn, arrives on scene.
“Sonny, we have a problem at the warehouse.” Shawn says, when Sonny answers his cell.
“What kind of problem?” Sonny demands.
“Cops are all over the place.”
“What? What are the looking for?”
“Excuse me, Sonny, there’s a cop coming over to talk.” Shawn says, as he puts his hand over the phone. “Yes, officer, what can I do for you?”
“Sir, who are you and what are doing here?” the officer asks.
“I am reporting to work.” Shawn says, covering. “I am an employee here at the coffee house.”
“Well, you have to stay outside while we conduct a search.”
“Search? What are you looking for?”
“We got a report that there are drugs located inside.” the officer informs him. “We’ll let you know when you can go inside.”
As the officer walks away, Shawn continues his call with Sonny.
“Boss, the officer just told me they got a report that there are drugs in the warehouse.” Shawn informs Sonny.
“Drugs! How the hell can that be?!” Sonny rages. “Okay, Shawn, you can go. I’ll take care of this!”
“Okay, boss!” Shawn says, as the call ends.
Todd and Franco watch from a distance as Shawn heads out, shaking hands at their success.
“On to plan B!” Todd says.
“Agreed!” Franco adds.
Episode 13
Sonny Corinthos arrives at his warehouse, against Dante’s orders, Sonny starts towards the warehouse. But Shawn manages to pull him back.
A few minutes later, the warehouse blows up.
Sonny screams, “Michael!” and heads towards the burning building, just as Dante pulls him back.
“Are you crazy, Sonny?” Dante yells.
“Your brother was in there doing inventory.” Sonny informs him.
“Michael was in there?” Dante asks, confused.
“Yes, I asked him to go to the warehouse and do inventory on my supplies.”
“Omigosh, Michael!” Dante cries out.
As firefighters put out the flames from the explosion, and do an extensive search for any bodies, they come out emptyhanded.
“I’m sorry, sir.” the firefighter says to Sonny. “There was no indication of any bodies in that warehouse.”
“What do you mean? Where is my son?” Sonny grills the firefighter.
“I don’t know sir, but put in a report with the police.”
“Don’t worry, Sonny. I already put in an APB on Michael.” Dante told his father.
Todd and Franco are headed back to Llanview with an unconscious Michael in the back seat of their car.
Episode 14
Todd is watching over a comatose Michael as Franco is working on the ransom note for Sonny and Carly. Todd just hopes that Carly won’t be mad that he partook in this scheme to kidnap Michael.
Meanwhile, Franco is emailing Sonny with the ransom note for Michael in an undisclosed email that can’t be traced back to him but Todd. With a sly smile, Franco hits the “send” button and waits for the sparks to fly once Sonny reads the email.
Ten minutes later, Sonny is logging into his email and notices the email. He reads it then forwards it to Damien Spinelli so he can run a trace on the sender.
Within minutes, Spinelli is emailing Sonny with the news that Todd Manning is the sender.
Back in Llanview, Carly is busy fighting off the advances of Mitch when Allison walks in, just as Mitch is about to plant a kiss on Carly, Carly slaps him.
“Hey, hey, hey!” Allison says. “Why the hostility?”
“Keep this man away from me!” Carly shrieks.
“Why? Whatever did he do?”
“He tried to kiss me!”
Turning his attention to Allison, “So, what has your husband been up to?”
“Well, how should I know?” Allison said. “I haven’t seen him.”
“Because I had you marry Manning to keep an eye on him!”
“Well, we don’t see each other much!”
“Well, you had better start keeping a better eye on Manning or you’ll be back in St. Ann’s before you know it!” Mitch ordered. “Do I make myself clear?!”
“Yes, boss!”
As Mitch leaves Allison with Carly, Carly grills Allison, “You’re married to Todd? How can that be?”
“Easy.” Allison says. “We went before a judge and said our vows. Just like any couple in love.”
“Please. Todd’s in love with you?” Carly says, not taking Allison seriously. “Don’t make me laugh.”
“Well, it’s true. Todd and I are in love. That’s why we are married.”
“Yeah, right.”
“Well, believe it, Carly. Todd is mine now. You are out of luck.” Allison says, leaving Carly in the room and locking the door.
“Damn you, Mitch!” Allison says. “How could you let Carly know I was Todd’s wife?”
Allison is headed home to see Todd, but all she finds in his pad is Franco.
“Who the hell are you?” Allison asks the intruder in Todd’s penthouse.
“I’m Franco. Todd and I just met and are working together on a project.” Franco informs her.
“Project?” Allison inquires. “Todd never told me about any venture?”
“Well, it’s top-secret. No is to know.” Franco says. “And who the hell are you?”
“I’m Todd’s wife.” Allison informs him. “So you can include me in on all Todd’s business plans.”
“No he can’t, Allison.” Todd says, walking downstairs, where he just come from the secret room where he placed Michael. “You are only my wife because you got me drunk. So you have no part in this venture.”
Fuming, Allison heads upstairs to her room where she notices a lock on the room down from Todd’s room, wondering why there is suddenly a lock on that door. Allison vowed to find out just what Todd was up to with this Franco.
Chapter 15
Allison was determined to find out why Todd locked the room down from their room. They only slept in the same room for appearances. Todd and Allison never consummated their marriage, and Todd had no intention on ever doing so.
When Todd left with Franco, Allison used her skills and picked the lock on the door that Todd had locked. She was about to enter when Franco came up behind her.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Franco yelled.
“The lock was unlocked, so I thought I would go in.” Allison lied.
“You’re lying.” Franco said, catching her in her lie. “I strictly remembering locking it before I left.”
“Please tell me what you are doing with Todd?” Allison said, cozingly sidling up to Franco.
“Never.” Franco said, resisting Allison’s seduction.
“I’ll make it worth your while.” Allison said, seductively, but to no avail.
Franco wasn’t budging with his plot between him and Todd. And Allison was mad.
“I have to find out what Todd and Franco are up to.” Allison said to herself. “If I don’t, Mitch will have my head.”
Just then, Allison’s cell began ringing. It was Mitch.
“Well, Allison, did you find out anything?” Mitch said, angrily.
“No, not yet.” Allison told him. “They’re not divulging any information as to what they are doing.”
“Well, you had better find out, and find out now!” Mitch ordered.
“Yes, boss.” Allison said obediently.
As Mitch hung up, Allison thought of the perfect plan to find out what Todd and Franco was up to.
Chapter 16
Todd and Franco found themselves locked inside their secret room that they had locked. Todd couldn’t remember what happened or how they got here. He wondered what Allison did that got them locked inside their secret room?
Franco was coming to and nearly freaked out when he discovered where they were and that he and Todd were handcuffed together with their hands behind them.
As Todd struggled to free them from Allisons’ clutches once again, Franco was beginning to doubt helping Todd with his plan.

Meanwhile, Allison looked at the ring on her finger before heading into the secret room to let Todd know that they were now husband and wife. She smiled a sly smile as she recalled what happened that finally got her in front of the justice of peace to marry Todd Manning per Mitch’s orders.
Franco and Todd heard the door unlock and Allison come inside.
“Well, good morning gentlemen!” Allison greeted them with breakfast.
“Thanks for the breakfast, but how do you propose we eat when we’re handcuffed together?” Todd angrily yelled at her.
“Well, I can feed you and your friend, husband dear.” Allison told him.
“Husband?” Todd railed. “What the hell are you talking about?!”
“Oh, did I forget to mention, hubby dear?” Allison taunted him, flashing the ring on her third left finger. “We’re married!”
“Well, it’s obviously a hoax because I certainly agree to this sham of a marriage!” Todd yelled at her.
“Well, believe it husband dear, but we are legally married.”
“Well, enjoy it while it lasts because when I get out of here, I’m going to annul this marriage!”
As Allison was taunting Todd with stories of how they got married, Franco had managed to free himself of the handcuffs and quietly got up and picked up the lamp and knocked Allison over the head with it.
After Allison went down, Franco unlocked Todd’s handcuffs and the two bolted from the room and locked Allison inside after they had retrieved Michael.
Before Todd and Franco could get Michael back to Port Charles, they ran into Blair.
